(Kuala Belait, 10th) In order to promote community unity and cultural exchange, Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd held its annual "One BLNG and Community Raya 2026" Hari Raya celebration last night at Liang Lumut Recreation Club.
Attendees included heads and employees of various BLNG departments, business partners, residents from Tutong and Liang Lumut communities, as well as community leaders and stakeholders.
This year's theme, "Syukur Syawal Silaturahim" (Grateful Hari Raya), demonstrates Brunei LNG's commitment to gratitude, revitalization, and strengthening the bond between staff and the community. The "One BLNG & Community Raya" celebration also embodies the idea of incorporating tradition into a unified event, emphasizing the spirit of unity as employees and community members gather to celebrate Hari Raya together.
In his speech, BLNG Managing Director and CEO Niels Dijksman highlighted the importance of gratitude, collaboration, and trust. He pointed out that gratitude reminds everyone to cherish what they have and be thankful to each person who has contributed to the company’s achievements thus far; while "Silaturahim" symbolizes the strong relationships, trust, and respect among people, as well as the bond that unites everyone.
The celebration featured a variety of engaging activities, including a children's activity zone, festival-themed photo wall, stage performances, and Hari Raya trivia, offering diverse entertainment options for all age groups.
