US President Trump stated on the 24th that the war with Iran has been won, and Iran is ready to reach an agreement.
Speaking to the media at the White House, he pointed out that Iran has been weakened, its regime has been overthrown, the Iranian military has been completely destroyed, and the war has already been won.
Trump said that Iranian leaders "want to reach an agreement."
He said: "Yesterday, they (Iran) did an amazing thing. They gave us a gift, and that gift arrived today. It's a very big gift, equivalent to a large sum of money."
When asked if this 'gift' was related to nuclear issues, Trump replied: "No, it has nothing to do with nuclear energy. It's related to oil and natural gas."
When asked again if Iran's gift was related to marine traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump responded affirmatively.
He said: "Yes, it has to do with traffic and the Strait."
