Eligible seniors aged 60 and above will be able to register and book through the 'MySejahtera' mobile application starting February 14, to receive a free flu vaccine.
The Deputy Minister of Health, Datuk Lukanisman, stated that the ministry has announced that eligible seniors aged 60 and above can get the flu vaccine at designated government clinics nationwide starting February 18, and the 'MySejahtera' mobile application will open for booking registration on the 14th of this month.
"Currently, the quantity (of vaccines) is limited. We encourage seniors to get vaccinated, and we also encourage any private sector or state government interested in collaborating with the government to vaccinate the public, similar to the increase in vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic by the Selangor and Sarawak state governments, to discuss with the Ministry of Health."
He stated that a total of 170,000 eligible individuals nationwide can benefit from this free flu vaccine initiative.
Lukanisman said this at a press conference answering media inquiries after officiating the 2025 Kedah State Health Carnival in Kulim on Saturday (February 8).
