(Bandar Seri Begawan, 30th) Brunei's Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) recently welcomed a delegation led by Malaysia's Sarawak State Minister of Transport, Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, and held a bilateral meeting focusing on strengthening cross-border transport cooperation.
The main topics of the meeting included promoting the movement of passengers and goods, sharing transportation policies and achievements, as well as advancing regional aviation sustainable development. The visit aims to further enhance connectivity for the benefit of both peoples.
Upon arrival, Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin and his delegation were warmly received by Brunei's Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, Pengiran Shamhary, and relevant officials.
In the afternoon, Lee Kim Shin also met with local aviation, shipping, and logistics industry players in Brunei to explore opportunities for deeper cooperation.
This visit reaffirms the commitment of both Sarawak and Brunei to strengthen bilateral relations, improve transportation links, and create mutual benefits.
