A fire broke out in a shop in Hengyang, Hunan Province, China, resulting in five deaths and one injury.
According to the "Hengyang Release" WeChat public account, at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday (May 24), a fire occurred at a shop in Shangzheng Community, Qidong County, Hengyang. Five people died, and one person sustained minor injuries. The injured person is receiving treatment and is not in life-threatening condition.
The Qidong County Emergency Management Bureau reported that related aftermath work and an investigation into the cause of the accident are currently underway.
