Astro held the 2025 Chinese New Year event "Joyful SHARE Year" introduction ceremony at Pavilion KL on the 8th, where the new Snake Year mascot "Joyful" was grandly unveiled. DJs and artists participating in the New Year album also performed four New Year songs live, creating a lively and grand atmosphere.
The "Joyful SHARE Year" New Year album, featuring 58 artists, includes four diverse style New Year songs: the theme song "SHARE Year" in the style of brotherhood, the tango-style "Magical New Year", the rock style "Make You Earn Enough", and the cha-cha style "Let's Prosper Together". The artists took turns performing, giving the audience a first listen.

As a mainstay of the Happy Channel, Huang Yifei was asked by his longtime friend, producer Deng Zhizhang, to deliver a rock New Year song "Make You Earn Enough" in just one day, breaking his personal record for songwriting speed. "In the past, when Deng Zhizhang asked me to write a song, it would take me at least a month, and at shortest, two weeks. But this time, I received his call at 6 am while I was exercising, asking for the song to be delivered by night." He humorously added that he took it as a challenge, and surprisingly, he finished it after two laps of running. He jokingly shouted at Deng Zhizhang in the audience, "You think I'm awesome? Later I thought I really am quite amazing!" He also revealed that he actually wrote two songs but only used one.
Participating in the "Let's Prosper Together" performance, "Fuying & Sam" were asked by host Wu Jiarun about their feelings of losing in "The Singer: Rise Up!" Sam responded, "Music should not be used for comparison; we were champions during rehearsal." Fuying admitted that losing was still disappointing, "but on the musical journey, whether as individuals or as a duo, we will continue to release more works."
Astro will launch New Year promotional activities starting January 2025, with artists touring various parts of West Malaysia to celebrate this joyous occasion with the public, distributing rich New Year merchandise. Additionally, to accompany viewers through a joyful Lunar New Year, Astro will launch the Joyful New Year Special Channel (Channel 100) with selected movies, TV dramas, variety shows, and culinary documentaries broadcasted 24/7 from January 27 to February 28, 2025, for the whole family to enjoy happy moments together.
