(Miri, 14th) Batik Air today launched a direct flight route between Kuala Lumpur and Miri, marking the airline's fourth destination in Sarawak after Kuching, Sibu, and Bintulu.

The board believes this will significantly boost the growth of Malaysia's tourism industry, with a goal to attract 35.6 million international tourists and generate MYR 147.1 billion in revenue by 2026.
The Kuala Lumpur-Miri route operates 14 times a week, twice daily, using Batik Air's Boeing 737 aircraft, offering a range of economy and business class options to meet different travel preferences.
