YB Adam Yii  mentioned at a news conference following the bureau's monthly meeting that the bureau is encouraging the public to use cashless methods to pay all bills, in order to accelerate transaction processing, enhance security, and provide a seamless and efficient payment experience for all customers. By adopting cashless payments, the City Council seeks to streamline operations, reduce reliance on cash, and contribute to a safer and more sustainable economy.”

He also encourages the public to explore various available cashless payment methods. To receive billing assessments, taxpayers can subscribe through the following channels: Spay Global app, Service Sarawak website and app, and Paybills Malaysia website.

He stated that the Miri City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any application based on its suitability and alignment with the goals of the event calendar, and submitting an application does not guarantee its inclusion in the event calendar; only approved events will be notified and subsequently recommended.
