(Kota Samarahan, 19th) Eight strong teams will compete from June 13 for the honor of being crowned champions of the "Samarahan Football League 2026."
The Honorary Secretary of the Samarahan District Football Association (PBBS), Amri Shabi, stated that the confirmed participating teams are LPFC, Tarang FC, Gedong Unity, Sambir Bistari, Tambirat Legacy, RANDO Samarahan, D’Cederio FC, and Enang Sari FC.
Amri pointed out that with the inclusion of these eight teams, the organizer's original team quota has been officially reached.
"All eight teams participating in the 2026 Samarahan Football League have been finalized. These teams are all well-known clubs from Samarahan and neighboring areas," Amri revealed in an interview with Arena Suara Sarawak, the sports edition of Suara Sarawak.
He revealed that the preliminary round of this tournament will adopt a group league format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals.
"The managers' meeting and draw ceremony is scheduled for June 6."

The champion team will receive a cash prize of RM5,000, along with a trophy and medals.
The runner-up will receive RM3,000 in cash, a trophy, and medals; the two losing teams in the semi-finals will both be awarded third place, with each team receiving RM1,000 in cash, along with a trophy and medals.
