At a press conference, she pointed out that from the 12th to the 13th, Thai paramilitary forces and border police set up barbed wire and tires in a border village in Banteay Meanchey province, Cambodia.

She said: “The Cambodian side requests the Thai side to immediately and unconditionally stop all actions that violate the ceasefire agreement and the spirit and consensus reached at the Special Meeting of the Joint Boundary Committee between the two countries.”

On the afternoon of the 12th, Thailand's Army Region 2 solicited a large amount of barbed wire from the public via social media to defend national sovereignty. On the afternoon of the 13th, the Army Region 2 announced on social media that it would stop receiving barbed wire, and stated that such donations play an extremely important role in safeguarding national security.
