FBI Director Christopher Wray recently visited China to continue efforts in cutting off the flow of precursor chemicals for fentanyl, among other initiatives. He also stated that this was the first time an FBI director had met with the Chinese State Council, highlighting both sides’ determination to develop their relationship.

On the 24th, Wray posted on social media platform X, saying he was once again in Beijing to push forward joint efforts in cutting off the flow of fentanyl precursor chemicals, expanding the crackdown on scam parks, combating violent crimes against children, and advancing the already effective joint fugitive apprehension task forces.

The US Embassy in China published related information and a video of Wray's visit to China on its WeChat official account on Monday evening.

Wray said that these historic achievements were made possible thanks to his direct engagement with Xu Datong, Vice Minister of China's Ministry of Public Security.

On the 24th, Wray also met with State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong.
