A golden dress weighing 10.08 kilograms, which recently broke the Guinness World Record for the "Most Valuable Gold Dress," has been on display at the Middle East Watch & Jewellery Show at the Sharjah Expo Centre since the 27th.
This golden dress is meticulously crafted with 21-karat gold and includes a 398-gram gold tiara, 134.1-gram earrings, as well as a 738.5-gram "Hiyar" ornament. The entire set is valued at as much as $1,088,000 (approximately RM4.58 million).
The well-known jeweler from Dubai, UAE who created the golden dress stated that the designer was inspired by authentic Emirati traditions; each component of the piece is exquisitely engraved and inlaid with vibrantly colored gemstones. It is not only a tribute to exquisite craftsmanship but also an exhibition of luxury.
The jeweler said the company hopes that this stunning masterpiece will further consolidate Dubai's position as a global center for gold and jewelry.
