A collapse occurred at a China Railway under-construction project in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, resulting in four deaths and six injuries.
According to a report by Xinhua News Agency's client on Friday (July 31), quoting relevant departments of Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a collapse occurred at about 3:50 a.m. at the compressed air energy storage project of China Railway Construction in Zhuozi County, Ulanqab City, at the tunnel section undertaken by the China Railway 15th Bureau. The accident resulted in four deaths and six injuries.
Rescue teams arrived at the accident scene at the earliest opportunity to carry out rescue operations. Treatment of the injured, on-site management, accident investigation, and other follow-up work are ongoing.
