Lee Leong Fook: 25 Years of Steady Progress — Miri Lee Clan Hopes to Unite Clan Members Nationwide

(Miri, 23rd) — Dato Lee Leong Fook, JP, President of the Malaysian Lee Clan Association, stated that the Miri Lee Clan Association, since its establishment 25 years ago, has upheld the mission of uniting clan members, promoting culture, and benefiting society. Not only has it played an active role in the community, but under the leadership of successive committees, it has continued to break new ground and grow, forging a uniquely distinctive path of development.
He emphasized this during his speech at the 25th Silver Jubilee Anniversary Celebration Dinner of the Miri Lee Clan Association, themed “United in Miri, Celebrating the Silver Jubilee; Together as a Family, Creating Glory,” held last night at the fifth floor banquet hall of Imperial Palace Hotel, Miri, Sarawak.
Lee Leong Fook pointed out that the Silver Jubilee anniversary is not only a milestone to look back on past achievements, but also an important starting point for a new journey.
He is confident that the Miri Lee Clan Association will continue to promote the excellent traditions of the Lee clan, as well as attract more young clan members to participate, ensuring the continuous inheritance of culture and the everlasting spirit of the Lee family.
"Twenty-five years of hard work, twenty-five years of brilliance. The growth of the Miri Lee Clan Association could not have been achieved without the dedication and support of all the predecessors, committee members, and clan members. Your contributions are the strongest foundation of the association."

He especially expressed his gratitude towards clan members both in Malaysia and abroad for their long-term support of the association's development, enabling the association to reach new heights in cultural promotion, ethnic unity, and interstate exchange.
He stated that cooperation between all state branches in clan affairs continues to push the Lee clan to new heights.
Regarding future activities, Lee Leong Fook announced that the Malaysian Lee Clan Association will grandly host the 4th "Homecoming Day" event on January 4, 2026, and invites clan members nationwide to participate enthusiastically and share in the celebration. On the same day, there will also be the "Tsinghua Winter Student Education Aid" and the "Lee Clan Doctoral Student Award Program" presentation ceremonies, to continue the association’s long-term commitment to supporting education and aiding students.
He called on all clan members to actively support and participate, and encouraged eligible descendants to apply and be nominated, ensuring the continuous inheritance of clan education and enabling more outstanding Lee descendants to benefit, working together to cultivate future pillars of the community.
He said, "All under heaven are one family" is the Lee clan’s warmest creed. The new association premises are not only a symbol of the association, but also the common home of all Lee clan members. He hopes everyone will often return home to visit, keeping this place forever filled with kinship, laughter, and strength.
