(Miri, 23rd) — The Sarawak Miri Lee Clan Association grandly held its 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee Celebration Banquet last night at the 5th floor banquet hall of the Grand Palace Hotel. The event featured 70 tables with the theme “United Lee Clan in Miri Celebrates the Silver Jubilee, Together We Create Glory with Heads Held High”. Representatives from state associations nationwide, clan members from Singapore, and local guests attended enthusiastically, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
She said that over the years, the association has organized Chinese New Year gatherings, appreciation banquets for elders, awarded scholarships to members’ children, as well as a variety of traditional Chinese cultural celebrations. Each event demonstrates the united strength in passing on culture, becoming an important link in uniting the clan.

She pointed out that the association’s steady progress over the years was due to the vision and hard work of past leaders, and the guidance and support of advisors. She feels deeply honored to contribute to the association and sincerely thanks all clan members and family for their understanding and companionship along the journey, considering these bonds to be one of life’s greatest treasures.
“25 years is a glorious milestone, as well as a new starting point towards the future. May we continue to join hands, let our clan’s unity flourish, let the Lee spirit be passed down, and let the virtues of family closeness and harmony be carried on for generations to come.”
Lee Sui Heong also mentioned that this is the first time the association has held an anniversary celebration, and the support from clan members and guests nationwide has made it even more meaningful. She humbly acknowledged that there may have been shortcomings during preparations, and expressed her sincere apologies and gratitude to the guests.
