(Bangkok, 29th) Patthama Jitsawat from Chonburi has been successfully crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 and also received the “Most Favorite by Media Photographers Award,” making her the biggest winner of this year’s competition.
Patthama is a professional singer, and her victory is believed to be closely linked with her all-round fit with the contest’s “4B” standard—Beauty, Body, Brain, and Business. During the final Q&A round, she delivered strong opinions on political ethics and the oil price crisis, which set her apart and proved to be the key to her victory.
This year’s event, themed “Beautiful and Ready at Any Time,” is also regarded as a major milestone for the Grand Thailand brand, marking its 15th anniversary. Patthama wore the “The Evolution” crown valued at 1.2 million baht; her victory is seen as a full demonstration of the contest’s drive to make beauty queens into celebrities.
The organizers noted that Patthama’s background as a singer and her previous honor of the “Grand Voice Award” have helped her to accumulate a stable fanbase and demonstrate strong commercial potential, perfectly matching the event’s strategy of converting popularity into commercial value.
The final stage’s design worked around the elements “Earth, Water, Wind, Fire,” utilizing fountain curtains and flame effects, combined with dance performances for a high-standard production.
The most crucial section of the competition was the “Intelligence Q&A,” where contestants had to respond to questions about political ethics and energy issues. Patthama stood out with her candid and compelling answers, successfully beating strong competitors, including the runner-up from Buriram.
Other finalists included Panasaya Angelica from Buriram, Irene Nepsu from Phuket, Nattakrita from Saraburi, and Narumon from Sukhothai.
Notably, Patthama previously gave up her Miss Universe Chonburi title to focus on her singing career. She once stated that continuing to compete would require extensive training, which would affect her team and work schedule, so she chose to prioritize her beloved career.
After conditions matured, she returned to the pageant stage, first winning the Chonburi Miss Grand title, and then ultimately claiming the national crown, achieving a spectacular comeback.
As the new champion, Patthama will represent Thailand at the Miss Grand International 2026 pageant in India this October.
The organizers stated that with her singing, performance, and live response abilities, Patthama is seen as a strong contender on the international stage.
