Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil today attended the ‘RIUH Raya Kita 2025’ festival at Raintree Plaza at Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) here, showing his support for MyCreative Ventures' initiative to promote local arts, culture and entrepreneurship.
The festival, running from March 19 to 23 from 3 pm to 2 am, features over 80 local brands, including Kahlo Studio, The Batik Life, Rumah Hartiqa and Behati.
It also offers nine creative workshops where visitors can engage with traditional arts such as calligraphy, ‘ketupat’ weaving and DIY festive envelope-making.
Spending over an hour at the event, Fahmi interacted with vendors and visitors while exploring various cultural activities and local products.
Also present were Communications Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa and MyCreative Ventures Group chief executive officer Zainariah Johari.
The festival showcases performances by renowned artistes like The Impatient Sisters, Nastia, Megat Fazly and FUGO, enhancing the Aidilfitri atmosphere.
The RIUH Raya Kita 2025 initiative includes the OneForOne programme, where visitors can donate meals to those in need by adding RM10 to their food purchases.
Meals are also available for as low as RM7, ensuring affordability for all.
With an expected attendance of over 60,000 visitors, the event not only celebrates Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage but also fosters a spirit of unity and togetherness.
