KUCHING,9 June: Senari Synergy Group has donated six cattle to villages across Sarawak in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha, showing its continued support for local communities through its annual ‘qurban’ (ritual animal sacrifice) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.

The beneficiaries of this year’s ‘qurban’ donation include Kampung Bukit Kudi, Kampung Haji Mahdi, Kampung Goebilt, Kampung Senari, Kampung Kolong Dua, and Tanjung Manis.

The initiative is part of the group’s efforts to foster unity, share festive joy, and support the less fortunate during one of Islam’s most sacred celebrations.

“Hari Raya Aidiladha is a time of sacrifice, reflection, and togetherness.

“As a corporate citizen rooted in Sarawak, we believe it is our responsibility to give back and be a source of support and encouragement to the communities around us,” said Senari Synergy’s Group Managing Director, Datuk Jefri Ahmad Tambi.

“This ‘qurban’ initiative is a small but meaningful gesture of gratitude to Allah SWT and solidarity with our fellow communities.”
He also highlighted that the initiative complements the goals of Sarawak’s Post COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030), which promotes inclusive and sustainable growth.

Village representatives who received the donations expressed heartfelt thanks to the company for its continued support and community involvement.

Senari Synergy continues to strengthen its CSR efforts through various programmes focusing on education, welfare, environmental conservation, and economic empowerment.
