Pujut Chung Hua School Graduation Ceremony Held Grandly, 214 Students Successfully Graduate

(Miri, 16th) The 71st graduation and award ceremony of Pujut Chung Hua School was grandly held this afternoon in the school's auditorium. A total of 214 graduates gathered to celebrate this important milestone in their primary education. Among them were 45 indigenous students, showcasing the school's multicultural characteristics and inclusivity.

Chuo Kwong Ung: Graduation is a New Starting Point

At the ceremony, the principal, Chuo Kwong Ung , expressed that today is a special day. It not only marks the completion of six years of primary education for the students but also signifies the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. He expressed immense pride and excitement for the growth and achievements of the graduates during their time at the school.

He stated that from the first grade, the graduates have shown extraordinary potential, excelling in both academics and sports, bringing honors to the school through various competitions. Achievements include the gold medal in overseas Chinese school student painting awarded by the Taiwan Overseas Chinese Cultural and Educational Foundation, noteworthy entries in essay writing, painting, and calligraphy competitions, runner-up in the World Spring Festival Couplets Calligraphy Competition, one gold, two silver, and three bronze in national archery, runner-up in national table tennis team competition, and the Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin Challenge Cup in calligraphy. These achievements are the result of the students' hard work, the dedicated guidance of their teachers, and the support of parents and the board.

“6th graders, looking back on your time at school, I believe you all have many cherished memories. You have grown from naive children into confident and independent primary school graduates. You have gained knowledge in the classroom, experienced teamwork on the sports field, and discovered your interests and talents in artistic activities; you supported each other with classmates, growing together through memorable days.”
He said that today's graduation ceremony is not only a summary of past achievements but also a prospect for the future as they are about to step into secondary school, facing new challenges and opportunities.

Principal Chuo encouraged the graduates to always remain curious and eager to learn throughout their future studies and life, and to learn to take responsibility.

He emphasized that a sense of responsibility is a key quality for facing challenges, and he hopes graduates will pursue their dreams bravely and be accountable for their choices. At the same time, he reminded graduates to cherish the deep friendships and teacher-student relationships established during their primary school years and to be grateful to the teachers who supported and accompanied them along the way. He particularly thanked the sixth-grade homeroom teachers for their meticulous planning of the ceremony, as well as the cooperation and support of all the teachers.

He said that this grand event is not only a blessing for the graduates but also an achievement of the collective efforts of all teachers and students.

In conclusion, Principal Chuo wished all the graduates a future filled with health, happiness, academic success, and the realization of their dreams. He encouraged graduates to venture forth with confidence and dreams, boldly writing their own wonderful chapters.

Apart from presenting graduation certificates, the ceremony also awarded the Best Male and Female Service Star Award, the Best Male and Female Extracurricular Activity Star Award, and the Exemplary Male and Female Student Award.

Attending guests included Chairman Pang Kuru Cai Gangming, Deputy Chairman City Councilor Chen Fuk Kin and board members, KSIB Leader Sarawak Chinese Association President Lee Tien Song and its members, three deputy principals, teachers, parents, and others.
