Lee Kim Shin: JCI Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians Award Encourages Nationwide Youth Participation

(Miri, 3rd) Sarawak Minister of Transport, YB Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, stated that the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians (TOYM) award not only recognizes the achievements of outstanding youth but is also an important platform to encourage the younger generation to bravely pursue excellence and actively contribute to society.

He attended today's launch ceremony for the 2025 JCI TOYM selection event, hosted by JCI Miri at a hotel in the city, and expressed high recognition for the award in his speech.

In his speech, Lee Kim Shin emphasized that the JCI TOYM aims to commend young Malaysians who have achieved excellence in their respective fields and have made a profound impact on society. This award is not only an affirmation of individual efforts but also a driving force for the nation's future development.

"The TOYM Award showcases the strength of perseverance, innovation, and social service. The awardees are not only role models for the youth but also remind us that with determination and enthusiasm, infinite possibilities can be created."

He also thanked JCI Malaysia for their continued promotion of this award, and especially expressed his respect to JCI Miri for their relentless efforts in promoting youth leadership, innovation, and social change.

Lee Kim Shin expressed that Sarawak has always been a land of great potential and hoped that the organization of the JCI TOYM can inspire more young Sarawakians to bravely pursue excellence and actively participate in this national platform of honor.

"By encouraging and celebrating youth achievements, we are not only shaping a brighter future but also promoting national development based on the values of diligence, innovation, and social responsibility."
