Iran's Fars News Agency reported on the 2nd, citing a government source, that Iranian President Pezeshkian has already ordered the initiation of nuclear talks with the United States.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei, when asked how Iran would ensure that talks with the US were not a trap, stated: "Of course we will take past experiences into account. Over the past 10 years, we have repeatedly experienced the US's breach of trust, broken promises, and acts of deception... These experiences were not easily gained, and we will certainly take them into consideration in any decisions."
Baghaei denied that Iran had received a "final ultimatum" from the United States for war.
He said, “Iran has never received any form of final ultimatum or timetable.”
