Famous Child Star Falls Into Homelessness, Co-star Warmly Reaches Out

36-year-old Tylor Chase was once a well-known child star in the United States, starring in the popular series "Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide" from 2004 to 2007, and became a cherished childhood memory for many.

However, he has now become a homeless drifter. His former co-star Daniel Curtis Lee and industry friend Shaun Herman Weiss have both reached out to offer their help.

According to reports, Chase was found on the streets of California looking extremely haggard, a stark contrast to his adorable child star image. Local police noted that they come into contact with him at least once a week. Community outreach teams have offered resources for mental health, substance abuse treatment, and temporary shelters, but Chase has declined help multiple times, even though his interactions with authorities have been friendly and cooperative.

The news has sparked public concern. His former co-star Lee has stepped up to personally help arrange a hotel stay and provide food, hoping to help his old friend through this difficult time. He revealed on social media that he visited Chase in person on Christmas Eve, watched him eat, and saw him safely settle into a hotel. However, Lee mentioned that Chase is sometimes hard to reach: "Sometimes he has a phone today, and it’s gone the next day."

Lee noted that, although relevant organizations once tried to get Chase into a hospital for treatment, it ultimately did not succeed. But he has not lost hope and, together with other friends, is now discussing a long-term assistance plan. They hope to arrange suitable treatment and rehab resources for him in the future. Lee also mentioned plans to set up a trust fund, so the public can donate to help Chase get back to a normal life.

Another actor, Weiss, also expressed his goodwill to Chase: "I’ve contacted some friends and have already arranged a rehab bed for him, as well as a place for long-term treatment." He urged anyone who can offer help to get in touch with him.
