Hong Kong's "ageless male god" Ray Lui held his 70th birthday banquet, attended by Charles Heung and his wife Tiffany Chen, Albert Yeung and his wife Lu Xiaoman, Hu Bing, Maria Cordero ('Fat Mama'), Donnie Yen, Irene Wan, Roy Cheung, Steve Choi, Wong Jing, and more—a star-studded gathering.
On December 25, Ray Lui shared a video of the banquet on social media. Dressed in a suit and wearing a jade pendant, he looked handsome and energetic, singing and dancing at the event.
With deep emotion, he said: "At seventy, I have always received great care from above, allowing me to meet so many benefactors in my life—people who helped every step of my journey to be smooth and safe through every challenge. When people ask me what the meaning of life is, I think life is a journey of experience. I am so happy to have my friends and siblings to enjoy the scenery along the way with me."
He also publicly declared: "Most of all, I am grateful to my wife, Yang Xiaojuan, a goddess who descended into the Lui family. Xiaojuan is a very, very important treasure in my life. My motto is: I have never failed—it's either a success or a lesson learned; I have no enemies—because they are all my teachers. I either gain or learn, and no path I walk is wasted. If I do well, I celebrate; if not, I remember. So I allow everything to happen, because in the end, everything that happens will benefit me."
