(Seria, 31st) Mr. Wen Bing Shen and Mrs. Tian Zhi Ling, proprietors of Hui Ming Factory in Seria, Brunei, generously donated BND 10,000 as funding for the Chinese Charitable Association's crematorium construction.
The Brunei Chinese Charitable Association has recently received additional donations from several enthusiastic individuals to assist in the major project of building the crematorium. Apart from the BND 10,000 donated by Hui Ming Factory, donations also include BND 1,000 from entrepreneur Yu Ze Cheng, BND 500 from former president of Kuala Belait Fuzhou Association, Zheng Bing Guang, BND 200 from Su Mei Fang, and BND 200 from Mr. and Mrs. Yuan Ren Le, proprietors of Seria Motor Workshop. All the funds above were accepted on behalf of the association by board member Shen Qiuxiang.
Shen Qiuxiang expressed her gratitude for the many enthusiastic individuals who, upon learning that the crematorium project had already received approval from the relevant authorities and that land leveling works have commenced smoothly, immediately donated to support the project.
She believes that this is not only an important measure to address strained land resources and to provide modern funeral services, but also an indispensable part of social development. Ms. Shen hopes that as the project progresses, more funds can be raised to help realize this significant initiative.
Shen Qiuxiang also particularly emphasized that the amount donated is not what matters most; rather, what is most important is everyone’s heartfelt intention to contribute to charitable causes for society. The construction of the crematorium has received government approval, marking an excellent opportunity and reflecting the government’s strong attention to social needs and support for public welfare. This initiative will not only help solve funeral arrangement issues, but will also further spread love and warmth in the community and promote harmony and sustainable development within the community.
