(Miri, 5th) Sarawak Deputy Minister of Tourism, Datuk Sebastian Ting distributed 700 sets of supplies and rice over two consecutive days to the disaster victims of Kampung Basi and Kampung Dudang Desa Phase 6 who were affected by floods during the Chinese New Year.
This morning, accompanied by his service team, Datuk Sebastian Ting visited Kampung Basi, distributing 300 sets of supplies and rice door-to-door. Yesterday, his service team distributed 400 sets of supplies and rice to the flood victims in Kampung Dudang Desa Phase 6.
Today, the Tien Seng Rice Trading Company sponsored 300 bags of rice for the event. Over two days, Datuk Sebastian Ting purchased and distributed 700 sets of supplies and 400 bags of rice to the flood-affected victims, showing them a gesture of care.
Datuk Sebastian Ting hopes that through this donation initiative, affected families can receive help and care, providing them with as much assistance as possible, and hopes the affected families can resume normal life soon.
