She admitted that although her daughter is beautiful and has loved fairy tales since she was young, Kuo strictly screens the content, even placing the classic fairy tale "Snow White" on her 'banned list.' On the show, when talking to host Li Jing about how children are easily influenced by outside perspectives, Kuo revealed that although her daughter loves princess characters, she carefully selects works that align with modern values. For example, "Frozen" and "Tangled" are safe for her daughter to watch, but "Snow White" is strictly off-limits.
Kuo candidly stated that she could never agree with the core logic of the story: "I just can't understand why you must meet a man—just because this man saves you, you have to marry him. What does that even mean? I just don't get why you don't make an effort yourself." She believes "Snow White" lacks a depiction of the protagonist overcoming difficulties through her own efforts, which can lead young girls to develop negative perceptions—mistakenly thinking that in times of crisis, they can only rely on rescue by the opposite sex and that their value in life depends on marriage or others.
In addition to discussing her selection of fairy tales, Kuo also took the opportunity to address the long-standing sensitive topic of public criticism that she is "having children for a rich family." She powerfully retorted: "What do you mean by having kids for someone else? Is it that I don't have the ability to make my own choices?" She emphasized that giving birth was entirely her own independent choice and a life experience she chose, insisting that she is in control of her life.
