(Kuala Lumpur, 3rd) What started as a minor car accident escalated into a gun intimidation incident. Fortunately, it did not result in a bigger conflict. Police have arrested two men involved in the case and revealed that one of them was actually carrying a fake gun.
A viral video shows that after two sedans were involved in a minor collision, the drivers got out of their vehicles to argue, which led to a dispute. During the altercation, one of the men suddenly drew what appeared to be a pistol from his waistband and pointed it at the other party. However, the latter seemed unfazed, stepping back a few steps before continuing to argue, and the situation briefly developed into a physical scuffle.

Despite the tense atmosphere for a while, fortunately the incident did not further escalate. After a heated argument, both parties eventually left the scene.
In addition, another viral video shows a man, believed to be the same individual, seemingly using a gun to attack another man in the street, resulting in injuries to the latter.
Police have confirmed that the car accident dispute case occurred at about 11pm on Tuesday (1st), in the Taman OUG area off Old Klang Road in the capital. About two hours after the incident, police received a report from a 28-year-old Malay man.
Brickfields District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Kumaresan said that according to the complainant, he was driving a black Honda City when it collided with a red Toyota Yaris hatchback before the incident.
He stated in a press release that while both parties were arguing after getting out of their cars, the other party suddenly drew a black pistol and pointed it at the complainant.
He said that police subsequently arrested two local men, aged 19 and 27, and discovered that the so-called "pistol" was actually a replica gun bought by one of the suspects on social media platform TikTok.
Police are investigating the case under Section 506 of the Penal Code (criminal intimidation) and Section 36(1) of the Arms Act 1960. The two suspects have been remanded until Saturday (5th) to assist in investigations.
