Four-Wheel Drive Plunges Into River, Oil Slick Spotted on Surface

(Kuching 15th) The latest update on the search and rescue (SAR) operation of the four-wheel drive vehicle that plunged into the Sarawak River near the Tun Salahuddin Bridge shows that an oil slick was discovered on the river surface near the search area.
This oil slick is believed to be from the four-wheel drive vehicle that fell into the Sarawak River last night.
Currently, the fire department is focusing on diving search efforts in the area.
Kuching South City Council Mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng and Kuching Police District Deputy Chief Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Alexson Naga Chabu also arrived at the scene to inspect the situation.
