Petronas Carigali Donates 5000 to Aid Lutong Fire Station Prayer Room Construction

(Miri, 10th) A delegation from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB), Sarawak Asset (BAKIP), visited the Lutong Fire Station (BBP Lutong) this morning to hand over a cash donation of RM5000 to support the construction of the station's prayer room (Musolla Al-Azhar).

The donation was handed over by Rudi Hartono Abdul, the chairman of BAKIP Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Asset), to assist the Lutong Fire Station in completing the prayer room construction. Attendees of the handover ceremony included PCSB SKA representatives Abdul Latip Sabeng, Mohd Zulfadli Bin Khalip, Ahmad Faiz Bin Bolhi, and Hj Abang Mohammad Lukman Abang Arabi.

Henry Ak Jugah, the chief of the Lutong Fire Station, expressed gratitude to PCSB SKA for their generous donation, which will be used to purchase windows and doors for the prayer room, expediting the construction process.

He mentioned that a formal sponsorship application had been submitted to the PCSB SKA management at the end of last year, and he was relieved to see it come to fruition.

Henry further stated that this donation is extremely important to them as it will help complete the prayer room's construction, providing better religious facilities for the use of firefighters. The prayer room is expected to be fully completed by July this year.
