Henry Distributes Tasik Biru Education Incentives

(Kuching, 10th) Sarawak Deputy Minister of Transport (in charge of river and sea transportation) Dato Henry Jinep continues to show his care for the younger generation by distributing a total of RM7,300 in educational incentive funds to 23 students from the Tasik Biru state constituency (DUN Tasik Biru).
He pointed out that this is the fourth time similar incentive funds have been distributed in 2025, aimed at encouraging students who have successfully enrolled in public or private higher education institutions (IPTA/IPTS).
"The total amount for this round of education incentive funds is RM20,900, benefiting a total of 52 students," he said.

He made these remarks yesterday at a simple handover ceremony at the Tasik Biru constituency service center meeting room.
As the state assemblyman of Tasik Biru, Henry explained that this incentive is a "one-off grant" provided by the Sarawak government, aiming to encourage students to pursue further studies in different fields, while also easing the financial burden on parents or guardians.
"The distribution of this incentive is regardless of race or family income background; as long as the requirements are met, one can apply."
"Last year, the Tasik Biru constituency distributed a total of RM90,200 in educational incentives, benefiting 160 students," he added.
