Late Night Accident in Miri: One Man and One Woman Injured

(Miri, 18th) A man and a woman were injured late at night on Wednesday (September 17) when the car they were riding in collided with a four-wheel drive vehicle at the traffic light intersection on Jalan Pujut 7.
The two injured parties, aged 29 and 24, were in a Perodua Axia at the time. The accident occurred at around 11:50 PM.
After being injured, both individuals were assisted out by police, the Civil Defense Force (APM), and medical personnel before the arrival of firefighters.
They were subsequently sent to the hospital for treatment, and their current conditions have not yet been disclosed.
When authorities arrived, the driver of the four-wheel drive vehicle involved in the accident was no longer at the scene. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
According to information from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Operations Center, 11 firefighters from Lopeng Fire Station rushed to the scene, deploying a Scania fire engine and an EMRS ambulance.
The operation concluded at 12:14 AM.
