(Bandar Seri Begawan, 18th) Over 140 Filipino children participated in the final day of the 2025 Filipino Language and Culture Enrichment Program (FLCEP), organized by the Embassy of the Philippines in Brunei.

This year's theme, "Kasaysayan," highlights history as a vibrant narrative that connects the past and the present.

On the closing day, students showcased their learning achievements through traditional costume dances, choral recitations, Baybayin writing, Palarong Pinoy song and dance performances, and other programs praising the rich history and heritage of the Philippines.

Philippines Ambassador to Brunei, Marian Jocelyn, emphasized that history is not only about the past, but is also closely connected to the stories being written in the present.

She also praised the students, parents, and volunteer teachers for their efforts and contributions in passing on the Filipino language and culture to the younger generation of Filipinos abroad.
