Chairman of the People's Trust Council (MARA), Datuk Asyraf, stated that he has ordered a thorough investigation into a viral social media post suspected to be a bullying incident at MARA Junior Science College, and mentioned that action will be taken if the incident is confirmed.
“I have asked my officers to investigate immediately, and if the incident indeed occurred at MARA, action will be taken at once.”
He emphasized that since assuming control of MARA, he has repeatedly reminded the MARA Junior Science Colleges that any culture of bullying is absolutely unacceptable.

According to a video shared by UTARA Kini, which is claimed to have taken place at the MARA Junior Science College in Penang, in a video lasting 1 minute and 31 seconds, several youths take turns straddling a young man lying on a single bed.
One of the youths repeatedly mounts the shoulders and neck of the boy in red, while another youth in blue uses a belt to bind the legs of the boy in red.
