This year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brunei and China. The Crown Prince expressed satisfaction with the continued strengthening of cooperation in political, economic, and socio-cultural fields between the two countries. He also acknowledged the unremitting efforts by the Government of the People's Republic of China in achieving remarkable accomplishments over the years.
However, given the current uncertainties in the geopolitical landscape, the Crown Prince emphasized the need for both countries to enhance cooperation to safeguard mutual interests and ensure sustained economic development.

He pointed out that this year marks the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Brunei-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
