Lung Chuan Clan Association Spring Festival Gala Held Joyfully Yang Ri Qing Calls for Unity and Inheritance of Hometown Affection

(Miri, 22nd) The Miri Lung Chuan Clan Association held the "2026 Bingwu Year Spring Festival Gala" last night at Fuhua Lou Restaurant. Elders, committee members, and members gathered together to celebrate the festive season, with an atmosphere of joy and warmth pervading the venue.

In his speech, President Yang Ri Qing said that as the evening coincided with the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, he extended his New Year greetings to all fellow villagers, wishing everyone good fortune, good health, and all the best in the new year. He expressed that it was an honor and a delight to gather with fellow hometown people and attend the annual Spring Festival dinner on such a festive occasion.

He pointed out that the growth and development of the Clan Association relies on the long-term support and participation of its members. Every event is successfully held thanks not only to the planning and efforts of the council but also to the enthusiastic attendance, mutual care, and support among members. Because of this, the Clan Association can maintain its vitality, move forward in unity, and grow stronger through mutual assistance.

Recalling the 75th anniversary celebration held in October last year, he described it as an important milestone in the association's development history. From the preparation to the successful holding of the celebration, the collective efforts of the organizing committee, council, and members demonstrated the spirit of unity and cooperation, and further enhanced the image and cohesion of the association.

He emphasized that as long as members continue their participation and contributions, the Clan Association will inevitably make continuous progress and improvement. He also called on fellow villagers to continue supporting the various activities to deepen hometown bonds and make the organization more solid.

Yang Ri Qing also specially thanked the wives and family members of the council and members for their support. He said that, although they are not originally from Lung Chuan, they always participate in association activities with family affection and selfless dedication, which is touching.

Speaking about future development, he stressed the importance of participation by the younger generation. He pointed out that the Clan Association is not only a platform for connecting with hometown feelings but also a continuation of culture and spirit. He hopes that young people will learn more about the history and culture of the hometown, actively participate in association affairs, and build a sense of belonging and responsibility so that the association's legacy is carried on and continues to develop.

He thanked the seniors for their guidance and support, and encouraged the young generation to bravely take up responsibility so that the association can continue to exert its influence in the new era.
