(Bandar Seri Begawan, 30th) Brunei International School (ISB) recently held a special ceremony to celebrate the 2026 cohort of sixth-grade students graduating from elementary school and embarking on their journey into secondary education.
The Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah, and Crown Princess Sarah attended the event.
Dominic Morley, Executive Principal of Brunei International School, welcomed the Crown Prince and his wife.
The Crown Prince's son, Pengiran Mohamed Aiman, is also among the 2026 cohort of sixth-grade students.
A total of 87 sixth-grade students from both the Bandar Seri Begawan and Seria campuses participated in the graduation ceremony, reminiscing about their learning journey during elementary school and preparing to move up to ISB Secondary School, Year Seven.
Sixth-grade students from both campuses received their graduation certificates at the ceremony. Afterwards, the students performed a group song and dance entitled "Conquer the World."
ISB Primary School Principal Michael Everett said in his speech that elementary school plays a crucial role in removing all possible barriers to students' future success, while at the same time ensuring every student has the opportunity to discover their interests, enjoy the learning process, and firmly grasp fundamental skills.
He stated that after moving up to secondary school, students will begin to realize their potential, develop their fields of interest, and prepare themselves for future employment and careers.
He believes that today’s generation of children are catalysts for change and will determine the direction of the world’s future. The decisions they make in the next decade will have a profound impact on global society.
