(B.S.B. 30th) The second mini sports day of Honghua School was successfully held recently at the Wenqing Welfare Department Sports Ground.
This event brought together all students, faculty and staff, parents, and school leadership to spend an unforgettable holiday brimming with energy, joy, and family fun.
On the day of the sports meet, Chairperson Lü Shiyun, School Advisor Shen Renxiang, and Board Director Zheng Shijuan attended the event in person, adding significance and splendor. The presence of these three school leaders fully embodies the school’s consistent educational philosophy of "promoting holistic development through sports and uniting the community through activities."
The festivities opened with a passionate aerobic exercise session. Students, teachers, and parents moved to the music together, stretching body and mind, and instantly ignited the atmosphere, injecting the whole event with positive energy, while a high-spirited team spirit surged throughout the venue.
After the warm-up, the classes immediately launched into entertaining team competitions. The activities were designed to balance teamwork, coordination, and competitiveness, not only enhancing students’ physical fitness but also stimulating their sense of cooperation and drive to excel. Cheers and applause echoed across the field as class athletes strived their hardest, demonstrating fine sportsmanship.
The highlight of the day was the "parent-child family games" segment. Parents and children teamed up to tackle various fun challenges, which not only deepened their mutual understanding but also brought the school and families closer together, leaving many heartwarming and touching moments.
The closing ceremony featured a solemn awards presentation, with the winners of the class competitions and parent-child games taking the stage in turn to receive their awards. Chairperson Lü Shiyun, School Advisor Shen Renxiang, Board Director Zheng Shijuan, and Principal Wu jointly presented certificates, warmly congratulating all participants and highly commending the passion, unity, and fighting spirit displayed throughout the games.
