The meeting between Iranian and the foreign ministers of the UK, France, and Germany ended at around 7 p.m. local time on the 20th in Geneva, Switzerland, after lasting for about three hours.
This was the first face-to-face consultation between Iran and senior Western officials since the military conflict between Israel and Iran.
After the talks, UK Foreign Secretary Rami, French Foreign Minister Barrot, German Foreign Minister Wadfur, and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kalas made brief statements to the media present.
Rami stated that the UK hopes to maintain ongoing discussions and negotiations with Iran and urges the Iranian side to continue engaging in dialogue with the US.
Barrot said that France has invited the Iranian foreign minister to consider restarting negotiations with all parties, including the United States, rather than waiting until Israel halts its attacks.
Wadfur stated that, after the talks, all parties generally felt that Iran is willing to continue dialogue on all important issues.
Kalas noted that all sides agreed to keep the dialogue open, discussing not only the Iranian nuclear issue, but also a broader range of topics.
