In recent years, Hong Kong actor Lin Zhengfeng has gained popularity through drama works such as 'The Queen of News,' and has gradually shifted his focus to developing his career in China. However, during his recent visit to Taiwan to shoot a street interview video, his opening line, "China Taiwan," unexpectedly stirred controversy. After the video was released, it triggered backlash from many Taiwanese netizens, with some even claiming to have reported him to the immigration authorities.

Lin Zhengfeng recently shared a video on his social media platform documenting his visit to Taiwan to shoot a street interview. The content mainly centers around experiencing the lunch culture of Taiwanese office workers. At the start, he faces the camera and says: "Hello everyone, in the blink of an eye, I have arrived in China Taiwan!" He then heads to the streets to interview locals about their eating habits and workplace culture, also sharing how Hong Kong office workers spend their lunch breaks. Although the video was originally focused on daily experiences, the opening line became a major talking point.

After being shared across major social platforms, the video drew criticism from many Taiwanese netizens who felt that Lin Zhengfeng’s choice of phrase carried political overtones. Comments included: “This place is called Taiwan, not China Taiwan,” “Coming to Taiwan and purposely saying that,” and “People like this are not welcome.” Some even claimed to have reported him to the Immigration Agency, demanding his deportation and a ban on future entry.
