(Sabah, 30th) — As of Sunday (30th) at 12:40am, the caretaker Chief Minister of Sabah Datuk Seri Hajiji's Sabah People's Alliance (GRS) and its ally Pakatan Harapan (PH) have won a total of 30 seats in the 17th Sabah state election, becoming the alliance with the most seats.
Of the 55 seats contested by GRS, they won 29, with Hajiji being elected for the ninth time as Sulaman state assemblyman.

Among the 22 seats contested by PH, only Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) secured a seat, with Datuk Kamarlin Jaffar winning in the Wonod seat, while other component parties DAP and Amanah did not achieve any wins.
Running under the "Save Sabah" slogan, Warisan, which contested all 73 state seats, won 23, including party president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal successfully defending his Senallang seat. Warisan thus becomes the second-largest party, matching the 23 seats it won in the previous term.

Barisan Nasional (BN), which previously faced multiple defections, secured 8 seats in this state election. UMNO won 7 of these, including Sabah state chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar's victory in Lamag, and Sabah People's Unity Party (PBRS) secured the Sukau seat. MCA, which contested 2 seats, failed to win any. In the previous election, UMNO had won 14 seats.
Perikatan Nasional (PN), which contested 42 seats, only managed to win 1 seat through PAS candidate Datuk Ali Akbar in Karabunai, marking the first time PAS has won a seat in Sabah. Meanwhile, Bersatu and Gerakan were defeated across the board.

STAR, which announced its withdrawal from GRS before nomination day and contested 46 seats, only managed to win 2 seats, secured by party president Datuk Seri Jeffrey Kitingan in Tambunan and Datuk Seri Mohd Isa in Bingkor. Similarly, Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP), which also exited GRS, failed to win any seats.
UPKO, which left PH just before nomination day, contested 25 seats and won 3—namely, the Kadamaian seat by party president Datuk Ewon Benedick, the Tamparuli seat by Datuk Seri Madius and the Moyog seat by Donald Mojuntin.
The Sabah Democratic Harmony Party (KDM), running independently and contesting 40 seats, won only through Datuk Musi Liman in Bingaran.
Three incumbent state assemblymen successfully defended their seats as independents: Datuk Awang Ahmad Sah (Pitasa), Datuk Fairuz Renddan (Pintas), and Datuk Lina Zainal (Kukusan). Two other independents, Datuk Maizul Mahat and Jorden Jude, won in Wulau and Tulid respectively.
