(Sabah, 30th) According to official results, WARISAN candidate Yusri Pungut has won the Sindumin state seat, which means that Pakatan Harapan's PKR has ultimately captured only one seat in the 17th Sabah State Election!
Earlier, unofficial results showed that PKR had won both the Sindumin and Melalap seats.
However, based on the official results announced by the Election Commission, WARISAN candidate Yusri Pungut defeated the State Governor’s son, Datuk Yamani Hafez Musa, to be elected as the Sindumin state assemblyman.
Yusri garnered 5,086 votes in Sindumin, PKR candidate Datuk Yamani Hafez Musa received 4,724 votes, and independent candidate Abdillah Jalaf @ Dila got 2,570 votes, with a majority of 362 votes.
With WARISAN seizing Sindumin, PKR ultimately won only one seat in this state election, which is Melalap, secured by Datuk Jamawi Jaafar.

In addition, as of 12:20 am, the Election Commission has announced official results for 38 state seats, among which GRS has won 18, WARISAN 10, BN 3, SAPP 2, Independents 2, Pakatan Harapan 1, KDM 1, and UPKO 1.
