(Miri, 2nd) Sarawak Deputy Minister of Tourism Dato Chen Chao Yao calls on the public to cherish their health, believing that only by having a healthy body can one actively participate in various activities, enjoy life, and share joyful moments.
He stated that the most important things in life are to possess a healthy body and a good attitude toward life, maintaining an optimistic and positive mindset in order to make life more wonderful.
Chen Chao Yao also urged everyone to cherish every moment spent with relatives and friends, face life with a smile and positive energy, and make each day more vibrant and colorful.
He made these remarks at the New Year’s gathering luncheon organized by the Miri Bekenu Le You Le Elderly Welfare Association yesterday morning.
Chen Chao Yao emphasized that health is one's own precious asset and must be valued, maintaining good living habits over the long term in order to enjoy a high-quality later life.
He pointed out that, in addition to the Miri Bekenu Le You Le Elderly Welfare Association, the Miri Senior Citizens Service Center also organizes various festive activities during every festival, such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, and Gawai Dayak, providing a platform for the elderly to interact and promote physical and mental health.
He thanked the seniors for making good use of the relevant venues and enthusiastically participating in meaningful activities, interacting and communicating with one another, jointly promoting a healthy lifestyle.
