Miri District Police Chief ACP Mohd Farhan Lee Bin Abdullah stated at a press conference this afternoon that the raids were carried out on April 27th at two locations in Miri.

He mentioned that the first raid took place at 12:10 am on April 27th at an entertainment venue in Miri city. Miri District Police Chief ACP Mohd Farhan Lee Bin Abdullah expressed gratitude to the public for continuously providing information, assisting the police in successfully cracking down on drug trafficking cases.

He emphasized, “I do not wish for Miri to become a transit point for drug smuggling.” He also urged the public to continue cooperating with the police by actively reporting suspicious drug activities around them, thereby assisting the police in comprehensively curbing such criminal activities.

He reiterated that the police will not compromise with any drug-related activities and will continue to strengthen enforcement actions to safeguard the community's safety and health.
