Mora Police District Holds Neighborhood Watch Roadshow to Strengthen Community Security Cooperation Mechanisms

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 13th) The Royal Brunei Police Force's Mora Police District held the "Strengthening Neighborhood Watch 2026" roadshow at the district's multi-purpose hall, aiming to further reinforce the community security network and raise residents' vigilance.

This three-day roadshow attracted a total of 39 participants, including members of the Neighborhood Watch under the Mora Police District's jurisdiction, village heads, village committee chairpersons, as well as representatives from agencies such as Brunei Maritime and Port Authority and Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd.

Senior Superintendent Maheran, Commander of the Brunei Mora Police District, attended the roadshow's closing ceremony as the guest of honor and presented certificates of participation to attendees.

The event concluded successfully with a closing prayer and group photo.

The organizers stated that the purpose of this roadshow was to enhance participants' understanding of the roles of various law enforcement agencies and to provide an open platform for communication, allowing all parties to share opinions and concerns.

Through this event, the Royal Brunei Police Force hopes to further strengthen the friendship and spirit of cooperation between the police and the public, while also emphasizing the important role that Neighborhood Watch members play in maintaining community security and well-being.
