34-year-old Sexy Male Model Rejected at Audition for "Mouth Smelling Like Feces," Suffers Psychological Distress for Over a Decade

Taiwanese sexy male entertainer Bian Qinghua boasts a handsome appearance and toned physique, and has performed well in the entertainment industry in recent years. However, he recently revealed a painful memory, sharing that he once suffered severe bad breath, and during an audition was despised by a female actress who said his mouth "smelled like feces." As a result, he was rejected by the production team!

Bian Qinghua said that the actress's words left him with a huge psychological shadow, and to this day, before every recording he chews gum, fearing that the bad odor will return.

He recalled on the TVBS variety show "11 O'Clock Hot Debate Shop" that after graduating from high school, he wanted to enter the entertainment industry and actively participated in auditions. He once acted opposite a female actress and noticed that she frequently frowned and even showed impatient expressions. As a newcomer, he initially thought it was his inexperienced acting or lack of qualifications that made him looked down upon.
Later, that actress directly called "cut" and expressed her dissatisfaction to the producer. After the audition, the producer bluntly revealed the cruel truth: "The girl said your mouth smells like feces." Bian Qinghua was extremely embarrassed on the spot, and so decided to address his oral health issues head-on.

He believes that aside from having naturally misaligned teeth, his wisdom teeth were also covered by gum tissue, which easily trapped food debris in the gaps, causing bad breath especially when speaking. After having four wisdom teeth removed, the situation improved somewhat, but the problem of crooked teeth still remained.

In addition, Bian Qinghua also admitted that in his youth he disliked drinking water, drank only sugary drinks, and loved eating savory, strongly-flavored late-night snacks like fried chicken, which made his breath even worse. After being rejected at that audition, he underwent orthodontic treatment to completely improve his appearance.

However, even though his teeth have already been straightened, the "fecal-smelling bad breath" black history still left a deep shadow in his heart. At a fan meeting a few years ago, because he had to interact with fans up close at the end, he frankly said that he always felt anxious, worried that the bad breath issue would return. As a result, he developed the habit of always carrying oral freshening spray.

To this day, before each recording session, he chews a piece of gum, spitting it out only right before filming starts. To verify his current status, he bravely asked host Ah Ken to "smell test" on the program. After smelling up close, Ah Ken reassured him: "It's actually fine, there's not much of an odor."
