Actor Kim Seong-jae, who appeared in the blockbuster Korean film 'Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days,' suffered a cerebral hemorrhage during filming of the series 'Goryeo-Khitan War' at the beginning of 2024. He had been in a coma ever since, and after more than two years in a coma, he sadly succumbed to his illness yesterday at the age of 48.
After his family confirmed the news of Kim Seong-jae's passing, a funeral ceremony is expected to be held at 6 am tomorrow morning, and his remains will be cremated at Yeonhwajang in Suwon City. Many friends from the entertainment industry who had worked with him in the past posted messages of condolence on social media.
Kim Seong-jae made his debut in 2004 with the classic Korean film 'Taegukgi: Brotherhood of War,' and subsequently participated in Korean movies such as 'The Showdown,' 'The Age of Shadows,' and 'Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days,' mostly appearing as supporting or minor roles.
