On the 1st, Jorge, President of the National Assembly of Venezuela, stated that the two recent strong earthquakes in the country had already caused 2,295 deaths.
The Venezuelan government is coordinating emergency response efforts, with a focus on search and rescue in disaster areas, treatment of victims, and the supply of basic necessities.
