Big S suddenly passed away in Japan, and her younger sister Little S (Hsu Hsi-ti) is grieving deeply, requesting leave from her hosting duties to gather her emotions. She once expressed on a show that “the person she loves most in this life is Big S, believing they were a couple in a previous life.” In response, Taiwanese spiritual expert Master Agui, who is skilled in interpreting past and present lives, conducted a spiritual reading of the sisters' past lives and found that they were in fact “divine bird partners” serving a deity by delivering messages.
Master Agui revealed that in a past life, the two were “colorful divine birds” under a female deity, tasked with message delivery as “bird partners.” Big S was a large colorful bird with beautiful feathers, but Little S’s wings were not very symmetrical. Hence, when Little S delivered messages, Big S would accompany her. One day, Big S's repeated assistance to Little S was discovered, and Little S was demoted to a mortal bird. The deity confined Little S to the mountains to train her in accepting her imperfections. However, Big S remained committed to helping Little S, so they reincarnated as humans, becoming sisters in this life to continue their unfinished lessons.
Master Agui also mentioned that during the sisters' reincarnation process, they experienced a period as mortal birds. On one occasion, Little S was trapped in a bird cage, and in a past life, their mother was a woman gathering herbs on the mountain. She saw Little S trapped, rescued her, and cared for her for a while, which Big S and Little S were deeply grateful for. As a token of gratitude, they reincarnated as her children in this life.
