Zhao Lusi Fulfills Her Dream of Running a Stall but Faces Criticism — Flaunts Health Certificate: 'The More You Hate Me, The Better I Become'

Chinese drama goddess Zhao Lusi recently made a low-key appearance in Sanya, Hainan, setting up a stall to sell her hometown Sichuan snack 'Egg Pancake,' fulfilling her dream of running a shop. Because a 'health certificate' is required to run a stall, she confidently showed off her health certificate during a livestream, directly clapping back at critics who doubted her, saying, 'Didn’t expect this, huh? The more you hate me, the better I become,' showcasing her resilient and unyielding character.

Last year, Zhao Lusi got caught up in a contract dispute and once thought she’d have to leave the entertainment circle, which inspired her to consider opening a noodle shop. Although she later joined a new company and her acting career was back on track, she still wanted to realize this goal, so she secretly went out to set up a stall, which received much positive feedback. During her livestream, she also emphasized that she did indeed obtain her health certificate, saying, 'Stop saying I’m unhealthy,' and added that if she weren’t healthy, 'this dream would be shattered.'

She also revealed that her sleep has been getting better, and she has been able to sleep well for about 15 days now. She bluntly stated that attacking others over illness is highly unethical, 'I don’t think anyone wants to get sick, whether it’s depression, mental illness, or physical (illness or pain).' She believes this kind of behavior is very irrational.
