The sudden passing of Barbie Hsu at just 48 during her travel in Japan has led to sighs about the impermanence of life. Ariel Lin revealed on a program that she began writing her will in her early 20s, sparking heated discussion among netizens.

Ariel Lin appeared on "Sun Market," hosted by Xie Na and Yang Di, where she was asked about the matter of her will. She candidly admitted that she started writing her will in her early 20s and just recently updated it. She explained that back then, she had a lot of work, much of it involving wire stunts in costume dramas, "Sometimes it was up to 4 or 5 floors high, and it relied on the strength of the wire stunt professionals, which was actually quite dangerous." So she felt that some matters needed to be properly addressed.

Ariel Lin mentioned that the contents of her previous will were relatively simple, focusing on "asset distribution." Now, it can be described as the "distribution of love," including gratitude, appreciation, and suggestions. Currently, it's only words, but she now wants to add photos and videos, making it a "memory full of love." Ariel Lin stated that besides her family and friends, the will also includes content for her fans, covering many topics, "I also find it quite fascinating." "After writing it, you realize what you can still do or haven't done," Ariel Lin expressed, noting that there won't be another chance later, so this also reminds her to "hurry and do what you haven't done yet!"
